Pale, fair-skinned, delicate, porcelain, glow-in-the-dark, pasty, whatever you want to call it, it’s what I am.
Every summer while everyone else’s skin is dropping a few shades after an hour of sun exposure. While mine shows barely any change in colour after a week at the beach.
It’s fine, I accept it. While the rest of you beautiful people have wrinkles and skin cancer in ten years I’ll be the one mocking you for not wearing the SPF 70 sunscreen made for infants.
While on the subject of beautiful people, my grandmother’s birthday is today. Happy birthday Gammy! For her birthday I painted a picture of her from an old black and white photograph.
I’ve got to say, Gammy was a babe. And I adore her dress, it’s so cute.
This isn’t oil on masonite like the rest of my paintings, it’s acrylic on canvas.

So I somehow accidentally bought three cases of Snapple. Not to point fingers but, I blame Kaitlynn Floyd.
Now with three fruity flavors and 18 new pieces of information I feel hydrated and a little smarter. With exams next week I’ll take all the knowledge I can get.
Did you know:
The average lead pencil can draw a line 35 miles long or write roughly 50,000 English words.
The only jointless bone in the body is in your throat.
On average a man spends about 5 months of his life shaving.
While on the subject of hydration, I’ve recently learned that coffee dehydrates your body.

I’ve got an obsession. Want to know what it is? I’ll give you a hint, it starts with frozen and ends in yogurt.
Every Tuesday is two punch Tuesday at TCBY and I am very proud to have surpassed filling one punch card.
Right next to my apartment building is Mochi, another frozen yogurt joint. And then there’s Red Mango, I have a lot of coupons for red Mango.
My pal Alicia lent me the Bible there. It’s the ESV study Bible, it’s awesome. I’ve got a study Bible and I’ve got an ESV Bible, but it just isn’t the same as an ESV study Bible.
Also this week, I finished my still life painting for class!
One and a half school assignments down and half to go. As I write this I’m procrastinating from finishing a paper for a reporting class.

Raise your hand if you have ever procrastinated. I don’t care if you’re in public. Just do it, it makes life more fun.
There are plenty of things I should be doing. These include cleaning, school work, church work, finishing a painting and grocery shopping. Instead I’m playing with my food and blogging.
All week long the weather has been beautiful. I really thought Gainesville would get through an entire week without rain for the first time this semester.
And then I walked outside this morning. I mean it wasn’t like I was walking through 3 foot deep puddles, but still. I just want one week where my hair isn’t affected by humidity.

O’Zone’s had the best pizza in Pensacola. And now they have a pirate ship made by Taylor and I out of sugar packets floating in a sea of napkin made.
Aside from great eating great pizza I found a huge pumpkin in a market.
I love seeing pumpkins and apple cider, it means Fall is finally here. Baskin Robbin’s has there pumpkin pie ice cream available too. The weather is even feeling like Fall. Tis the season to roll your windows down and wear your scarves.
Yes there is truly nothing like a night with friends drinking cider and stealing mini pumpkins.

I was forced to eat a stale granola bar for breakfast.
There is no food in my house. I desperately need to go to Wal-Mart, otherwise I’ll have no lunch and I’ll starve, leading to my death, which means the end of this blog.
But good news- Tom Thumb is selling coffee for only 63¢
A school of fish made from more grapefruit and some goldfish.
Ever since I began this school semester I’ve loved Mondays. I am never scheduled to work and I have no classes.
I get to sleep in and catch up on studying or go running. And of course I can add a new blog post.
Goldfish were on sale. One dollar and one flavor of each. What a deal!
