Throwing cheese puffs at one another’s face that is.
My most recent birthday gift was an everlasting supply of cheese puffs. 1 pound and 6 ounces to be exact. They were of course in reference to the office.
So there’s that.
Needless to say, with so many cheese puffs at my disposal I have mastered the art of throwing them in the air and catching them in my mouth.
I have shared the barrel filled with the cheesy snack with about 10 friends and still I have barely made a dent in them. And of course I felt it necessary to create art with them.
If I could somehow get these to impoverished nations I think I could help with the hunger problem.
I’m sure I can find more uses for cheese puffs. I’m just not sure what yet.
Thank you Kaitlynn! This gift proves that you are truly the best.
The night was supposed to be relaxed and quite. Lately I haven’t had any nights like this, but I enjoy the spontaneity more anyway. This squid cake, made with chocolate and strawberry cake, was for a surprise party for my very dear friend Betsy.
Instead of eating cake we loaded up in a car and hit the town. Our night of celebrating Betsy’s 20 years of life included (and was not limited to) exploding lighters, partially stolen rebel flag belt buckles, climbing trees, throwing beads, stalking a Greek restaurant, sprinklers, pants ripped at the crotch, piers and lighthouses, drunken middle-aged dancers, a gazebo, and tether ball.
Mostly I just loved spending time with my lovely friend for her birthday.

I cannot claim this one. Taylor attended taco Tuesdays at Tijuana Flats and send this to me.
It’s a lovely taco man.
This post isn’t exactly art made out of food. However, it does have a lot to do with food.
For my birthday my friends and I took a small day trip to visit friends in Mobile, Alabama. On the way we rolled our windows down, played blue grass music and stop at every giant statue we saw.
Stop one was probably the most interesting. A chicken outlet. We met the owner, Charley, he sells the same chicken you would eat at Church’s, TGIF’s, or Popeye’s. But he sells it to people for way cheaper. And he has a giant chicken.
Giant blow up pumpkin and scarecrow.
Giant pumpkins and gourds.
All in all it was a really good day filled with eat and seeing awesome food.

Breakfast is the best meal of the day. I love sitting down with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise. Morning seem more peaceful then the rest of the day.
Experimenting with food and recipes can be rewarding at times but, it can also yield unfortunate results.
Pancakes are the best breakfast food, probably because they are so versatile. My friend Caitlin and I explored this further. Along with pancake mix at hand we set out into the baking work with apples, baby bananas, cinnamon, chocolate, and a bowl of fruit for balance.
Mickey Mouse, a classic.
All the colours of the rainbow.
