More Cake And More Paintings

Is there any better way to celebrate your 51st birthday than with strawberry cake and spending the day packing, storing and moving everything two girls own? The answer is yes, of course. I’m very grateful to my father and my second father for helping me move. This awesome flamingo cake was a birthday/thank you cake.

The semester is over!

Now I have even more time to paint.

This painting of a bag of coffee didn’t take very long to finish at all. I may have spent around 2 or 2 1/2 hours at the most.

Mmm… Pancakes

It’s that time of year yet again. Exam week. Naturally my roommates are frazzled and stressed out.

All week long we have been craving pancakes; we finally gave in and had a pancake party.

Ingredients use:

pancake mix, chocolate chips, oat meal mix, syrup, peanut butter, ice cream, cocoa powder, butter, and a whole lot of love

Needless to say we all ruined our dinners. I should have listened to my mother. All my life she warned my not to eat any cookies too closely to dinner and here I am at 4:30 in the afternoon with a tall stack of pancakes.

Pancake ice cream sunday with syrup on top.

I got a little lazy toward the end of the pancake experimentations and threw a whole lot of batter into the frying pan. Poor execution of the monster pancake.

The point is pancakes are awesome, studying is not, and I feel like I’m going to vomit because I ate too much.

My Apartment Is 90° (Probably)

Seriously, some guy has been working on my A/C for hours with no results. It’s Florida, it’s summer, it’s cooler outside than it is inside.

Here’s a few reasons why I’m not getting school work done:

1. It’s raining.
2. My book is starting to get good.
3. I’m hungry.
4. I should fold my laundry.
5. I should put up my laundry.
6. It’s raining.
7. My apartment is too warm.
8. My tea is too cold.
9. I’m going to hang up the painting I just finished.
10. I’m going to upload a picture of the painting I just finished.

Anyway, I made a cauliflower monster.

I really have no idea what you do with cauliflower. How do you cook it? What do you eat it with? Why  does it remind me of sheep?
